Fresh off from her newly released album, 143, Katy Perry has expressed her gratitude for the pop legend, Madonna. The ‘Roar’ singer announced ‘The Lifetimes Tour‘ after the promotion of her recent album. And Perry owes Maddona for launching her into the music industry.
Perry recently claimed that Madonna shouted out the ‘Hot n Cold’ singer’s song a long time ago. She stated that the ‘Hung Up‘ singer probably does not remember her. Nonetheless, Perry has urged all females to pay thanks to Madonna for breaking the ceiling in the industry. Here’s what she has said.

However, she claimed Madonna’s influence did not stop at Perry. She continued, “She’s the greatest. She paved the way. Every person, when you talk about me reaching out to younger artists, every female still needs to continue to say ‘thank you’ to her cause she is breaking down barriers. I’m 40, I still get to do music because of Madonna.”
Katy Perry Is Open To Mentoring Young Female Artists
Katy Perry feels nothing but love re-entering the industry after giving birth to her daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom. The singer stated that her album’s title, 143, is a digitized translation of “I love you”. Discussing with the Australian reporters, Perry said that she is always available to mentor young female artists.
The singer believes she did not have it as tough as the current artists in the industry. She said, “Social media wasn’t there and there wasn’t 8 billion voices speaking all at once. There was still a lot to see and hear and protect yourself from.”

So, I tell all the girlies that ‘I’m here, I got you.“
