When Is Travis Kelce Proposing Taylor Swift?
With Taylor Swift’s fanbase widening by the day after the fantastic year she had, the speculation surrounding her engagement with NFL star Travis Kelce is also gaining heat. 2023 has been a fabulous year for the pop sensation with a successful ‘Eras Tour‘ and the relationship she entered with Travis Kelce. Come 2024, her dedicated fanbase is naturally expecting more.
While there were rumors about Kelce proposing to Swift for marriage, there was no confirmation of any such thing happening. Some claimed that Kelce did not pop the question during the winter holidays to avoid “rushed insanity“. It seems that the football star would be taking the same cautious approach, steering clear of a Valentine’s Day proposal.
However, a source close to the celebrities has revealed to Page Six, that a strategic proposal is on the way and the fans will finally be able to see the two getting engaged this summer. “Taylor and Travis discussed it, and there is a plan. They will get engaged on their one-year anniversary in July,” the insider claimed, hinting at a summer engagement.

Taylor and Travis’s Relationship Continues To Blossom
Taylor Swift and Kelce made their first public appearance as a couple in September, as the singing sensation cheered for her NFL beau at Arrowhead Stadium during a Kansas City Chiefs game. However, Swift later revealed in her Time magazine Person of the Year interview that the two had been together since much before that.
Kelce also spoke about the relationship on his podcast, narrating a failed attempt to exchange phone numbers at an Eras tour concert. But as destiny had it, the romance found its way between the two, but they decided to keep it under wraps. Swift said she is thankful for the private time they got to spend together, away from the public eye.
“We actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for because we got to get to know each other,” she said. Speaking more about the nature of their bod, Swift said, “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there, and we don’t care.”
In December, Kelce had reportedly sought permission from Swift’s father, Scott Swift, for her hand in marriage. A source close to Kelce told Page Six at the time, “Scott has been asked for his blessing and has wholeheartedly given it, and Travis has been talking to friends about a ring.”
The celebrity couple recently enjoyed holidays with both families and shared a New Year’s Eve filled with PDA. The fans are now eagerly looking forward to July, hoping that the couple finally tie the knot soon enough.
