Slaying the GRAMMY stage and stealing our hearts, Taylor Swift strutted away with her 13th golden gramophone at the 2024 GRAMMYs. The significance this number holds of Taylor and Swifties is not a secret phenomenon.

The 34-year-old pop sensation, known for turning heartbreak into chart-topping hits had six nominations at this year’s Grammys. Out of six Swift bagged one and you are about to find out which one.

Taylor Swift bagged the Best Pop Vocal Album for her 10th studio album ‘Midnights’ in style. In her acceptance speech, Swift cheekily acknowledged the significance of the number 13 in her life. She started, “OK, this is my 13th GRAMMY, which is my lucky number. I don’t know if I’ve ever told you that.” 

Swift graciously thanked the Recording Academy for recognizing her work not forgetting to mention her fans. “I want to say thank you to the members of the Recording Academy for voting this way, but I know that the way that the Recording Academy voted is a direct reflection of the passion of the fans.”

Swift, a six-time nominee at the ceremony,  is still in the race for major categories like Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and more.

But that’s not all, breaking out the surprise confetti, Swift spilled the beans on a well-kept secret and it wasn’t what everybody was anticipating. No, Taylor did not announce Reputation (Taylor’s Version) but she indeed did announce something.

Taylor said, “To say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I have been keeping from you for the last two years.” She started and with that all too familiar smirk, My brand-new album comes out April 19th. It’s called The Tortured Poets Department.”

Taylor Swift’s 11th studio album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ is set to drop on April 19th. Talk about dropping a bombshell while clutching a trophy!

With three Album of the Year wins under her belt, she’s eyeing another for ‘Midnights’ aiming to surpass legends like Frank Sinatra and Stevie Wonder for the most wins in the category. The competition is fierce, featuring stellar contenders, but if history is any indication, Swift might just add another milestone to her glittering career.
