‘Ted Lasso’ is coming to an end after three glorious seasons. But it doesn’t mean we see the last of Jason Sudeikis playing the American coach trying to figure out a very English sport. Jason Sudeikis seems to think the final season does justice to the story the creators want to tell. That said, he is not giving up on Ted Lasso yet.
While he’s only speaking in code, it’s enough to excite the fan. Even if the show ends, there are plenty of opportunities for spin-offs where Coach Lasso turns. These are not our words; just paraphrasing what Jason Sudeikis says about potential spin-offs. Keep reading to discover the future of ‘Ted Lasso‘ and the potential spin-offs.

Jason Sudeikis Talks About The Future Of ‘Ted Lasso’
The star and the co-creator of ‘Ted Lasso,’ Jason Sudeikis, thinks the sun is setting on the story they wanted to tell. But he’s also being coy about Ted Lasso returning to our screens in one form or another. Is there a cameo or two, perhaps?
According to Deadline, Sudeikis believes, “I mean, there’s always Cameo, right? This is the end of this story that we wanted to tell, that we were hoping to tell, that we loved to tell. The fact that folks will want more and are curious beyond more than what they don’t even know yet—that being Season 3—it’s flattering.
“Maybe by May 31, once all 12 episodes of the season [have been released], they’re like, ‘Man, you know what, we get it, we’re fine. We don’t need anymore, we got it.’ But until that time comes, I will appreciate the curiosity beyond what we’ve come up with so far.” Sudeikis adds.

Is There A ‘Ted Lasso’ Spin-Off In The Works?
While there’s no saying what other ‘Ted Lasso’ co-creators think about the spin-off, we know where Jason Sudeikis stands. The former ‘Saturday Night Live‘ alumn is open to exploring spin-offs from the ‘Ted Lasso’ universe.
“Yeah, I think that we’ve set the table for all sorts of folks…to get to watch the further telling of these stories. Again, I can’t help but take the question as flattery for what all of us that were working on the show has tried to do. It’s really kind of folks to even consider that because you never know what’s gonna happen when you make things. The fact that people want more, even if it’s a different avenue is lovely.” says Jason Sudeikis.
‘Ted Lasso‘ is based on a character Sudeikis first portrayed in a series of promos for NBC Sports’ coverage of England’s Premier League. The third and final season of ‘Ted Lasso‘ will see Coach Lasso (Jason Sudeikis) and the AFC Richmond trying to move on without Nate (Nick Mohammed). Frustrated with a lack of credit, he joins West Ham United. The final season of this Emmy-winning series premieres on March 15, 2023, on Apple TV.
