In a ‘Loki‘ episode from the previous year, Jaimie Alexander made her eagerly-anticipated comeback as Lady Sif. The actress appeared in a moment where Tom Hiddleston’s character Loki was trapped in a time loop with Sif, who kept berating him for cutting her hair.
Alexander played Sif for the first time in a cameo on ‘Agents of SHIELD‘ in its first and second seasons. She was last spotted in ‘Thor‘ (2011) and ‘Thor: The Dark World‘ (2013). Finally, Lady Sif is making her way back to the big screen in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder‘.

Jaimie Alexander Wants A Lady Sif TV Show
Jaimie Alexander enjoys playing the role of the hero. She even made some TV show suggestions this week on Instagram. “If Lady Sif had a series, what would YOU like to see? I’m loving some #BetaRayBill What do you think @walter.simonson.5 ?? #skuttlebutt #surtur #korbinite #thor #sif,” Alexander wrote.
Alexander doesn’t appear to have needed to bulk up for her role in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’, which concerns her comeback. “For this movie, I didn’t have to train. And you’ll see why,” she teased fans.
Taika Waititi, who directed ‘Thor: Ragnarok‘, is back with a cast of beloved Marvel characters in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder‘. In addition to Alexander, Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Natalie Portman (Jane Foster), Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie), and Waititi will all return in the upcoming film Korg.
Cast Members From ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ Appear In ‘Thor: Love And Thunder’
Some of the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy‘ cast members also appear in the film. Some newbies to the MCU also appear in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’, including Russell Crowe as Zeus and Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher. Waititi has teased in the past about how the film “is so insane and also very romantic.”
“I mean, I started this journey with her [Portman], playing opposite her in the first film and to reunite now and have Jane being in a very different place and also Thor having to be in a different place,” Hemsworth recently shared.
He added, “It was a lot of fun and, you know, we got a chance to sort of answer some of the unanswered questions that we left the second film with when they parted. We didn’t really know what actually happened. Did she dump him? Did he dump her? Who left who? Etcetera. So we had a lot of fun answering those questions.“
The movie ‘Thor: Love And Thunder’ hit the theatres on July 8.
