It seems Hailey Bieber isn’t a huge fan of Taylor Swift.
In 2023, a video of Bieber emerged where she is hosting an episode of “Drop the Mic” with Method Man, who says “[Celebrities will perform] a one-on-one rap battle full of the meanest lyrics about a celebrity since Taylor Swift’s last album“. This statement gets a gagging reaction from Hailey upon hearing Swift’s name.
A resurfaced TikTok video on the incident attracted the attention of Selena Gomez earlier last year, who commented on it and said, “So sorry, my best friend is and continues to be one of the best in the game.”

Fans, of course, were furious at Hailey’s reaction- even though the video was years old.

Surprisingly, this was not the first time Hailey had shown her disapproval with Swift.

Hailey Bieber Disapproves Of Taylor Swift’s Squad
The year was 2014 and Taylor Swift’s 1989 era and her Polaroids and bob hair and friend circle had the world in a chokehold. Not everyone, it seems. And certainly not Hailey Bieber.
Taylor Swift’s squad, consisting of people like Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez, Karlie Kloss, Hailee Steinfeld, and even Kendall Jenner, gained a lot of attention during the 1989 era.
One person, who didn’t really seem thrilled about the idea of having a ‘squad’ though, was Hailey.
In an interview, she said, “I don’t know what having a squad means. I just have my friends and that’s it. I don’t think that you need to create a public squad. I don’t know what that proves. So I don’t really understand the Taylor Swift squad at all.”
Ironically, some of her best friends now were once part of the Swift squad.
Not just this, in 2012, Hailey tweeted a shady tweet against Taylor and her then-boyfriend Harry Styles.

As of now, she has had zero interaction with Swift and has also frequently apologized for behavior and actions in her previous years, fans are still pressed about her shady tweets and responses, which many deemed as unnecessary.
On the other hand, Swift has never spoken about or even acknowledged Bieber in any way despite all the drama. It started and ended as a one-sided beef.
Here’s hoping that the two ladies interact this year, to put an end to all the Hailey Bieber hate trains.
