Tiffany Haddish, the vivacious comedian and actress known for her unfiltered humor, found herself in hot water once again.
The 44-year-old comedian was arrested for DUI on Beverly Drive in Los Angeles on November 24, 2023. Since then the the actress has been facing a slew of questions and legal battles. All by the grace of her tumultuous relationship with traffic rules.

Where Did Tiffany Haddish’s DUI Story Start?
It all went down on Beverly Drive in Los Angeles, CA. Reports suggest Tiffany was found stopped in her running vehicle around 5:45 a.m. on November 24, 2023. Was she catching some Z’s? The actress was subsequently arrested.
So why did Tiffany end up in the back of a squad car? Allegedly, she was caught snoozing behind the wheel, triggering a DUI charge. And Just the night before, she was tickling funny bones at ‘The Laugh Factory’’s Thanksgiving feast.
In typical Tiffany fashion, she didn’t let the arrest rain on her parade. While performing at ‘The Laugh Factory’ in Long Beach later that same day, she faced the music, literally. When a fan inquired about her eventful evening, Tiffany quipped, “My prayers for a man in uniform were answered!”.
However, on December 13, Tiffany was officially charged for her DUI following a BAC of.08%. The L.A. District Attorney’s office proceeded and she entered a not guilty plea while the case was first under review. The trial was supposed to begin in December, but it was postponed.
Fast forward to February 1, 2024, and Tiffany’s back in the spotlight—this time, in court. The big news? She struck a plea deal. Two misdemeanor DUI charges were tossed aside, and replaced with a reckless driving conviction. Tiffany played her cards right, pleading no contest to the traffic violation, and wrapping up the saga with a neat little bow.

Tiffany Haddish: Repeat Offender Or Just Bad Luck?
This isn’t Tiffany’s first rodeo with the law. Back in January 2022, she was nabbed for a DUI-related incident in Georgia. But she doesn’t shy away from her mishaps! During a guest-hosting gig on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ in April 2022 she joked, “Yes, I did get charged with a DUI, which stand for D*mb Unfortunate Incidents,”.
Later in an appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon‘, she again made the lark of the misery. “I can say this, Jimmy. I’ve been praying to God to send me a new man, a good man, and God went ahead and sent me four in a uniform. I wasn’t expecting it,” spinning the situation into comedy gold. She added, “Now, I’ve got a really great lawyer, and we’re gonna work it out.”
Despite the drama, Tiffany’s not throwing in the towel. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she vowed to seek help and ensure this hiccup doesn’t repeat itself. She said, “I’m going to get some help so I can learn balance and boundaries,”.
Tiffany Haddish may have hit a few bumps in the road, but true to form, she’s turning her setbacks into punchlines.
