While Cillian Murphy aka Thomas Shelby was the life of ‘Peaky Blinders‘, Tom Hardy also assumed a significant and rather impressive role in the Netflix show. Hardy did full justice to the rough yet enticing character of the Jewish leader Alfie Solomons in the series. As the rumors about a ‘Peaky Blinders‘ movie swirl, many are hoping for Hardy to be back.
When Hardy was asked about his possible comeback in the movie in a recent interview with Sky News, he reassured that the news is true. “100%. Alfie will definitely make an appearance, but I don’t know when… and I don’t even know if he will, that’s just me punting,” Tom Hardy said.
So fans can now brace themselves to see more of Tom Hardy as the Jewish leader of Camden Town. Interestingly, the character is based on the real life Jewish gangster Alfred Solomon, and has assumed a central role in the show from season 2 onwards.

Many others are also hoping that Natasha O’Keeffe will reprise her role as Lizzie Shelby, especially given the importance her character assumed in the sixth season. For now, it is known that the filming of the movie is expected to begin this September.
