Tom Holland, one of Hollywood’s most beloved stars, has captivated audiences with his charm and talent, most notably in his role as Spider-Man. However, the actor recently revealed that his time in the spotlight might not last forever.
Holland admitted that he could step away from acting entirely once he starts a family, signaling a future where his priorities shift from Hollywood to home life. Additionally, he also revealed the reason behind him skipping Zendaya’s red carpets.
Tom Holland Claims He Would Disappear From Hollywood After Having Kids
The Spider-Man actor is gearing up for a monumental year in 2025, with major projects like the ‘Spider-Man 4’ and Christopher Nolan‘s adaptation of The Odyssey, where he will star alongside his girlfriend Zendaya. Yet, despite his success and adoration from fans worldwide, Holland seems to have his sights set on a quieter, more personal chapter.

“When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore,” Holland confessed in an interview with Men’s Health. “I’m looking forward to the day I can just play golf and relax. Golf and dad. And I will just disappear off the face of the earth.” This admission hints at a desire for simplicity and normalcy.
In the same interview, Holland described himself in three words: confident, excitable, and spontaneous. To illustrate his spontaneity, Holland shared a recent anecdote about a decision he made without consulting Zendaya. “I bought a dog the other day and didn’t run it by my girlfriend at all,” he admitted. “I seemed to remember running it by her, but I didn’t.” Fortunately, Holland added that the unexpected addition to their lives went “fine.”

“It’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us,” he explained to Men’s Health. For Zendaya’s ‘Dune‘ and ‘Challengers‘ premieres, Holland deliberately stayed out of the spotlight, allowing her to shine independently.
This gesture speaks volumes about their partnership. While they’re more than willing to team up for joint projects (like their roles in Marvel’s Spider-Man films) they also respect each other’s individuality. Additionally, the couple’s bond will undoubtedly be on full display in 2025, as they tackle two highly anticipated projects together.
