Tom Holland rose to stardom with his role as Spider-Man alongside his now real-life beau Zendaya. As the fans of the franchise now await the fourth installment, Tom Holland made a pretty tasty drop this week about the film.
Holland recently hyped up speculating fans with an update that’s sure to have webslingers geared up. Speaking on ‘Rich Roll‘, Holland let loose that he and co-star—and off-screen girlfriend — Zendaya have already had a crack at a draft of the script. And, apparently, it’s shaping up to be something special. Here’s what he said.
Tom Holland Praises The ‘Spider-Man 4’ Script
Tom Holland and Zendaya already have a hold of the highly anticipated ‘Spider-Man 4‘ film, as he recently revealed. “We have a creative and a pitch and a draft, which is excellent,” Holland said, showing his excitement in regards to the progress. “It needs work, but the writers are doing a great job, and I read it three weeks ago. It really lit a fire in me,” he said.
While he kept most of the plot details under wraps, the actor did hint that there’s still plenty of tinkering to do before the film swings into production. Being the power couple that Tom and Zendaya are, the reading process sounded like an intimate date night with a side of cinema magic as they did it.
“Zendaya and I sat down and read it together, and we at times were bouncing around the living room like, ‘This is a real movie worthy of the fans’ respect,'” Holland added. “But there are a few things we need to figure out before we can really get going.”
‘Spider-Man 4’ Has High Hopes Riding On It
Still a work in process, the fourth installment of ‘Spider-Man’ has fans already buzzing with anticipation. The last installment, ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home‘, blew wide open the multiverse and brought back some fan-favorite Spider-Men played by Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire. Besides, it also introduced some fan-favorite iconic villains like Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, and Alfred Molina’s Dr. Octopus.
