Though the Chiefs celebrated one of the best years of their career, the aftermath of the Super Bowl victory was a rather horrid one. As the players participated in a parade with hundreds of fans, a shooting took place, leaving 22 injured and one dead.
Post-incident, Travis Kelce is looking for ways to help the victims of the tragedy, along with making a big donation.

Travis Kelce Donated $100k For The Shooting Victims
As a swift act of generosity, Travis Kelce has donated an amount of $100K to two sisters who are victims of the shooting. Set up by the Reyes family, they were seeking funds for the treatment of their two daughters who were wounded in the incident.
Travis has donated the money under his charity’s name ’87 and Running’. A source spoke to Page Six about it and said, “Travis has a really big soft spot for kids and wanted to make sure their families were taken care of and were supported with whatever they needed.”
The Reyes family set a goal of $100,000, so thanks to Kelce’s financial assistance, they have already reached and will likely exceed their goal.
On Thursday, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes paid the young girls a special visit at Children’s Mercy hospital in Missouri.
