Andrew Garfield revealed behind-the-scenes stories of ‘We Live In Time’ and this one is hilariously steamy. In the upcoming romance comedy, Garfield stars with Florence Pugh as a married couple, with some intimate scenes between the two. However, while filming, Garfield admitted that he and Pugh went a little further than planned.
‘The Social Network’ actor confessed that the duo failed to hear the director say “cut” and got carried away in the scene. Here’s what Garfield said about filming a sex scene with Pugh.

‘Happy Sad Confused’ podcaster, Josh Horowitz interviewed Andrew Garfield ahead of his film ‘We live in time‘. The actor narrated how a sex scene with his co-star Florence Pugh got carried away even after the director said “cut“.
He told Horowitz, “We do the first take of this very intimate, passionate sex scene. And it’s a closed set, which means it’s only me and Florence in a room together and the camera operator, who is our DP [Director of Photography], a very lovely man called Stewart.”

“The scene becomes passionate and we choreographed it and we get into it, as it were, and we go a little bit further than we were meant to just because we never heard ‘cut’ and it’s feeling safe and we’re like, ‘OK, we’ll go to the next thing and the next thing, we’ll let this progress,'” the actor continued.
Filming Crew Had To Look Away From Andrew Garfield And Florence Pugh
As Andrew Garfield And Florence Pugh went on with the scene, both realized it was taking longer than expected. He stated, “We are telepathically saying to each other, ‘This definitely feels like a longer take.'” Garfield then stood up, just to meet with a laughing audience.

Andrew laughingly said, “I look up, and in the corner is Stewart, our room operator. Stewart has the camera by his side and he’s turned into the wall.”
‘We Live In Time’ is a passionate love story between Tobias, played by Garfield, and Almut, played by Pugh, portrayed through the years. The film will be released in the UK on January 1, 2024.
