Aaron Carter was the brother of the Backstreet Boys’, Nick Carter. He started his career at a young age. Carter rose to fame with his sophomore album, ‘Aaron’s Party(Come Get It)’. The album went on to gain platinum status. His last studio album was ‘Love,’ released in 2018. The medics, on November 5, 2022, declared the music artist dead. During his short-lived yet glorious career, he led a tumultuous life. Now, the reports have revealed the real cause of his death.

Aaron Carter Died Of Drowning Due To Gas And Drug Effects
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department received a call from Lancaster. When the officials reached the address, they found Aaron Carter in an unconscious state in his bathtub. The spokesperson informed the fans that the artist has died at his Palmdale residence in California. At the time of his death, the family did not reveal the reason for his death.
Now, various new outlets have accessed the autopsy reports of Aaron Carter. The reports confirmed that the ‘Fool’s Gold’ artist died of drowning due to drugs and gas effects. The medics found difluoroethane, a gas used in air cleaners in electronic devices, and alprazolam in Carter’s body.
As per autopsy reports, the gas difluoroethane can “induce feelings of euphoria when inhaled,” and it can “lead to cardiac arrhythmias and sudden cardiac arrest.” Alprazolam has “depressant effects on the central nervous system which can cause drowsiness and sedation.”

The Report Confirms The Death To Be An Accident
Aaron Carter led a very turbulent life when he attained stardom at a young age. As early as 2011, he was admitted to a rehabilitation center due to his growing substance consumption.
But, in 2012, he fell into a black hole after his sister, Leslie, died of a drug overdose, which caused a relapse. In 2017, he was arrested on DUI suspicion and marijuana possession. Before his death, he was admitted five times to rehab.
Now, the medical examiner confirms that Aaron’s death was an accident. The report read, “Mr. Carter became incapacitated while in the bathtub due to the effects of inhaling compressed gas and taking alprazolam.”
It continued, “This resulted in him becoming submerged under water, unable to breathe, and ultimately led to his death. The cause of death is drowning due to the effects of difluoroethane and alprazolam. The manner of death is accident.”
