Park Jimin Is The Proud Owner Of Ryan Gosling’s Ken Guitar
Yep, Park Jimin received Ken’s guitar as a gift from Ryan Gosling. In one of the scenes in the movie, Gosling wears an outfit that is heavily similar to an outfit Jimin wore in the ‘Permission To Dance‘ music video. In a video posted by Gosling, he apologizes to Jimin saying, “Hi Jimin, it’s Ryan Gosling here. I noticed that your Permission To Dance video outfit is the same as my Ken outfit in the upcoming movie Barbie. I have to give it to you, you wore it first and you definitely wore it better.”
He added, “And there is an unspoken Ken code that if you buy another Ken’s style, you have to give them your most prized possession. So, I hope you will accept the Ken guitar as my humble offering. Besides, Ken doesn’t really play anyway. So, it will be much better in your hands.”
Jimin responded to the video saying, “Hi Ryan and hi Ken, its Jimin. Congrats on your big release. My fans are excited to see your video. So thank you so much. I could see that you looked great in my outfit. Thank you for this guitar. I really loved it and I look forward to watching Barbie. Go Barbie!”
The BTS member also captioned the video writing “Thanks for having my outfit in Barbie the movie. You rocked it, Ken” followed by a guitar emoji. Well, there’s nothing quite refreshing as Kens supporting Kens!

‘Barbie’: Box Office Performance
Not even a week after its release, ‘Barbie‘ has already broken records for the largest opening movie by a female director. The movie had a 145 million-dollar budget, and it has made it all back and then some more. Over the following month, the movie should earn significantly more. It has already entered the $500 club.
Audience review has mostly been mixed, but the majority of them have been wildly positive. Fans have found the movie to be empowering, with a strong message and a brilliant cast and incredible storytelling.
