Zac Efron has been in the spotlight outside of his film business for a while now. The Emmy-winning actor was first spotted on the St-Tropez boat with Gerard Butler and at the Paris Olympics opening ceremony. Before his Spain trip, he was partying on a Greek island in Mykonos. The night before the swimming accident, he was also seen onstage with Martin Garrix at Ushuaïa Ibiza Hotel and Beach Club.

The pool incident occurred a decade after another major health crisis he faced when he smacked his face on a granite fountain while running with socks in his house. Zack shared this during an interview and was unconscious due to the impact and his jaw “was hanging off his face.”

The result of the accident led to many changes in his face over the years. Many people also compared his face to his past self as he was a teenage heartthrob back then. But the actor said, “If I valued what other people thought of me to the extent that they may think I do, I definitely wouldn’t be able to do this work.”
