    Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom‘ trailer just dropped and it’s taking over social media as fans are thrilled to finally see it after years of waiting. Jason Momoa returns as the perfect Aquaman, along with the likes of stars like Nicole Kidman, Temuera Morrison, Willem Dafoe, and Dolph Lundgren.

    Amber Heard, too, makes an appearance in the trailer, though a short one. Here’s everything that we saw in the trailer and more details on the movie.

    ‘Aquaman’ Trailer Debuts With A Bang

    The trailer begins with Jason Momoa’s character narrating his journey from “a wanderer with no home” to becoming the King of Atlantis, a husband, and a father. The first look shows Aquaman claiming his role as ruler and protector of the underwater realm as a new threat appears. In the nearly three-minute trailer, Nicole Kidman and Patrick Wilson team up with the superhero to fight a new villain.

    The new sequel picks up where the previous movie left off. Viewers have to follow the main character Arthur Curry as he battles the Black Manta, the series’ next villain. The character is played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.

    The official synopsis for the movie reads: “Having failed to defeat Aquaman the first time, Black Manta, still driven by the need to avenge his father’s death, will stop at nothing to take Aquaman down once and for all.”

    The release date of ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom‘ is set for December 20, 2023. The ongoing WGA and SAG strikes could cause a delay in the release of the movie, which was originally set for December 16, 2022. However, it was moved to March 17, 2023. The movie’s release date was then set for December 25, 2023. Lastly, it was moved up a few more days to its present date.
