5 DC Characters Who Literally Bring Death To Life

While we consider death as a final state of nothingness and erasure of life, comic books often interpret it differently. In many stories, Death is portrayed as something separate altogether. It is an independent being with a physical or spiritual form and can actively interact with individuals.

Each form of death in the DC universe serves a different purpose. They are either helpful guides to the afterlife or actively trying to sabotage the living beings. Here are such DC characters who are the embodiment of death.

5. Death Of The Endless

Among all personalities and expressions of death in the comic books, Death of the Endless resembles real life quite closely. Here, we get a fundamental state of non-existence. She is charming, patient, and a true guide to the souls for the afterlife. DC deftly makes Death a necessary part of the universe and its cycle.
