In DCEU, the lead star for Batman keeps on changing. First, it was Christian Bale, then Ben Affleck and now, it’s Robert Pattinson. Sources have revealed that there are some conflicts going on between DCEU and Ben Affleck, which means that they just might have to bring Bale back into action.
Bale played the role of Batman in ‘Dark Knight Trilogy’ from 2005-2012. They were some of the highest-grossing Batman movies ever. Well, the good news for fans is that Bale has agreed to reprise his role as the caped crusader. But there is one condition which he has voiced. Will it be fulfilled?

Christian Bale’s Condition For Returning To Batman
Christian Bale expressed how sad he becomes as no one ever asks him to reprise his role as Batman. In his words, “No one’s ever mentioned it to me. No one’s brought it up. Occasionally people say to me, ‘Oh, I hear you were approached and offered all this.’ And I’m like, ‘That’s news to me. No one’s ever said that.’”
When he was recently asked whether he was ready to put on the Batman suit again, Bale said yes, but only under one condition, that Christopher Nolan must be the director. The actor even gave details about the secret movie pact between him and Nolan. He said, “I had a pact with Chris Nolan. We said, ‘Hey, look. Let’s make three films, if we’re lucky enough to get to do that. And then let’s walk away. Let’s not linger too long.’ In my mind, it would be something if Chris Nolan ever said to himself, ‘You know what, I’ve got another story to tell.’ And if he wished to tell that story with me, I’d be in.”
Christian Bale Has Still Not Watched Batman Movies
When asked about Robert Pattinson’s work as the new Batman, Bale revealed he still hasn’t seen any of the Batman movies. “I still haven’t seen it. I will see it,” he told Variety. “Listen, mate, it’s amazing how few films I see. Every director I work with, I’ve seen a couple of their films and they’re always looking at me going, ‘Are you kidding?’ I like to really savor films, and I don’t watch too many. But I will, I certainly will.”
The ‘American Hustle‘ star also sang high praises for Robert Pattinson. He said, “Robert is an absolutely wonderful actor. We bumped into each other, talked a little bit about it ahead of time, and I heard wonderful things.” Whether the golden duo of Bale and Nolan would return for another Batman movie still remains a question.
