While ‘The Flash’ will serve a bigger purpose for the franchise, Ezra Miller, the protagonist, has had run-ins with the law. Ezra Miller walked the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of ‘The Flash.’ During the premiere, on the red carpet, Miller extended his thanks to the people who made the franchise possible. Andy Muschietti Wants The Actor To Play The Role In The Sequel
During CinemaCon in April 2023, Andy Muschietti opened up about Ezra Miller for the first time. The director said, “Ezra is well now. We’re all hoping that they get better… They’re taking the steps to recovery. They’re dealing with mental health issues, but they’re well. We talked to them not too long ago, and they’re very committed to getting better.”
Ezra Miller appeared as Barry Allen in ‘Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.’ ‘The Flash’ will have its first standalone film with this Andy Muschietti directorial. In an interview with Variety, Andy said that he wants Miller to continue playing the Scarlet Speedster. He said, “If [a sequel] happens, yes. I don’t think there’s anyone that can play that character as well as they did.”
Muschietti continued, “The other depictions of the character are great, but this particular vision of the character, they just excelled in doing it. And, as you said, the two Barrys — it feels like a character that was made for them.”
