James Gunn Promotes Peacemaker’s Release In Japan
Peacemaker, the series picked up from where the lead’s story concluded in Gunn’s film ‘The Suicide Squad’. The series starring John Cena as the titular anti-hero debuted on TV in January this year. And with its aced comedic elements, the show quickly became one of the audience’s favorite shows. The show’s positive reception earned the confirmation for its further season.
Not only the audience, but Gunn’s show left a positive mark on the critics as well. The show currently scores as high as 94% on Rotten Tomatoes, becoming one of the most successful DCEU projects. Moreover, apart from Cena, other cast members including Viola Davis and especially Freddie Stroma as Adrian Chase earned praise for their work in the show.

Now Peacemaker is debuting in Japan and to promote its run in the country, James Gunn shared a behind-the-scene shot of Cena. Moreover, he also shared the show’s Japanese poster on Twitter.

Gunn keeps engaging in conversation about Peacemaker’s next season. However, in one of his confessions, he shared about working on a different DC project at the time. “Frankly, I’m working on another DC thing, and maybe another one. So we’ve got a couple of different things we’re trying to balance with the story,” he spilled while conversing on a podcast.
