Top 10 Speedsters In The DC Universe

When it comes to superheroes, every major comic and movie has always been intrigued by the concept of super speed. These speedsters are the staple of every superhero franchise. The DC universe, in particular, has marveled at the idea of super-speed as a power, and multiple characters utilise it in various stories. In fact, DC gave them their own mini-universe. Here are the best ones.

It was me, Barry! I was the one.” Reverse Flash, Eobard Thawne, is the polar opposite of Barry Allen. If Barry embodies the positive in the Speed Force, Thawne embodies the negativity in it. Thawne was obsessed with the Flash and replicated the accident that gave Barry his powers to create his own. It allows him to travel through time and manipulate history to give Barry pain and despair at every step.

2. Hunter Zolomon (Zoom)

My name is Hunter Zolomon. And I am the fastest man alive.” This speedster is not a true user of the Speed Force. Zoom or Hunter Zolomon is not someone who runs; rather, he manipulates time itself, making it appear like he is moving at an incredible speed. He is driven by the belief that tragedy makes heroes better. He inflicts immense suffering on Wally West.

1. Wally West (The Flash)

Originally, he was the sidekick Kid Flash. Wally West was the successor to the Flash after Barry Allen’s death. He became the fastest speedster as he continued to train and work as a great hero over the years. Wally has a direct connection to the Speed Force, and that gives him the ability to perform feats no one else can. He can steal and lend speed to others. His best feat, perhaps, is the fact that he outran the concept of Death itself by racing it to the end of time.
