Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce are already thinking about making a statement at the 2026 The Masters Tournament, set for April 9–12 at Augusta National Golf Club. During a recent episode of their podcast, New Heights, the brothers tossed around the idea of coordinating their outfits for the prestigious golf event.
Travis kicked things off with a bold suggestion tied to one of the tournament’s most iconic traditions. “Should we get matching green jackets?” Travis asked Jason in a podcast clip released April 2, referencing the famed Masters Green Jacket awarded only to tournament winners.
Jason was quick to shut it down, stressing the exclusivity of the honor. “You can’t get a green jacket! You can’t imitate a green jacket,” he said. He went on to compare the idea to bringing personal gold medals to the Olympics, highlighting that such symbols are reserved strictly for champions. Not missing a beat, the Chiefs player pivoted with an alternative.
“Alright, can we do gold jackets?” Travis said, adding, “And just tell everybody that line whenever they ask us, ‘So, what’s with the gold jackets?’ Green jacket, gold jacket, who cares.”
Jason laughed off the revised pitch and appeared more open to a toned-down version of the plan. “Matching jackets doesn’t sound bad,” he said.

Jason Kelce is also set to take on a broadcast role during the 2026 The Masters Tournament. According to Front Office Sports, he will team up with ESPN as an on-course reporter for the Masters Par 3 Contest, where he will conduct interviews with players and their families.
The assignment adds to Kelce’s growing media resume, following his earlier golf broadcasting appearance at TGL. Reflecting on that experience, Kelce joked about needing a wardrobe upgrade for Augusta.
“I don’t think they’re going to let me in with a cutoff Hawaiian shirt at Augusta,” he said, recalling his outfit choices at the SoFi Center event.
