Brooklyn Beckham has reportedly altered a tattoo that was long seen as a tribute to his father, David Beckham, as tensions within the Beckham family continue to play out publicly.
The 26-year-old was recently photographed in Los Angeles alongside his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, where new images suggest the anchor tattoo on his right arm, once bearing the word “DAD” in bold capital letters, has been covered up.
Photos obtained by The Sun show the original lettering replaced with additional artwork, including what appears to be a starfish and two life preservers. According to a source cited by the outlet, Brooklyn underwent laser treatment to modify the tattoo, which had been closely associated with his father for years.
“He wanted it gone,” the source said. The same source also claimed that Brooklyn has covered up a chest tattoo previously dedicated to his mother, Victoria Beckham.
“To see Brooklyn covering up Victoria’s tattoo, and now the one he had for his dad, will sting,” the source said. “It seems very cruel and will add salt to the wounds.”
A representative for Brooklyn Beckham was not immediately available for comment. The apparent tattoo changes come just weeks after Brooklyn publicly addressed ongoing tensions with his parents.
Last month, he shared a statement on his Instagram Stories in which he said he did not want to reconcile with his family and accused David and Victoria Beckham of attempting to interfere in his marriage to Nicola Peltz Beckham. He also alleged that Victoria danced “inappropriately” with him at their 2022 wedding.

Since then, David and Victoria Beckham have appeared publicly alongside their other children on multiple occasions, presenting a united front as the family remains under intense scrutiny amid the ongoing dispute.
Nelson Peltz Breaks His Silence On The Beckham Family Feud

While the Beckhams have largely remained silent, Nicola Peltz Beckham’s father, billionaire investor Nelson Peltz, commented publicly on the family feud this week during a Q&A session at the WSJ Invest Live event in West Palm Beach, Fla.
“Has my family been in the press lately? I haven’t noticed at all,” he joked during the event. Peltz said his advice to his family was to “stay the hell out of the press,” adding that both Brooklyn and Nicola were doing “great.”
He declined to discuss the broader family conflict in detail, stating, “My daughter and the Beckhams are a whole other story, and that’s not for coverage here today.”
