Cardi B opened up about a personal transformation following her second divorce filing from Offset, describing a renewed mindset during her March 31 appearance on the Aspire With Emma Grede podcast.
The 33-year-old said the shift began sometime last year after she filed for divorce in 2024. The couple, who married in 2017, share three children named Kulture, Wave, and Blossom. Cardi B had previously filed for divorce in 2020 before reconciling, only to file again later.
“But I feel like last year, a new person was reborn,” Cardi B said on the podcast. “I don’t know if it was the divorce, or I don’t know if… Something just woke me up, and I feel like I’m definitely a new person.”
She explained that this transformation has shaped both her personal outlook and professional decisions, emphasizing a stronger sense of urgency. “You got to take advantage of the moment of the moment now. And I feel like now is the moment,” she said.
She added, “Before I go man crazy. Before I get too comfortable. Before I be like, ‘Oh, my back hurt.’ Or before anything. I have to do it now.”
Cardi B also suggested that marriage isn’t off the table in the future, describing herself as a romantic while framing 2026 as a defining year for growth and action. “This is the year. I’m 33 years old. I’m in my Jesus year. I’m in my Orisha year,” she said.
The singer further added, “And it’s like this is the year. It’s like God is telling me, like it’s going to be now or never. Take advantage of it. It’s like Jesus is telling me it.”

The Grammy-winning artist has remained active on the professional front following the release of her second studio album, Am I the Drama?. Alongside her music, she has expanded her business ventures through a partnership with Revolve Group to launch her haircare line Grow-Good.
She is also currently performing across North America as part of her Little Miss Drama Tour, continuing to build momentum in her career. In her personal life, Cardi B welcomed a fourth child in November 2025 with former New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs.

Cardi B extended her current run with a bold fashion statement during her March 30 performance in Toronto, wearing an Atelier Biser bodysuit paired with a dramatic outer layer. The look centered on a floor-length black faux fur coat designed with a voluminous silhouette, long sleeves and a high structured collar rising behind her head.
Beneath the coat, she wore an emerald-green sequined bodysuit featuring a deep neckline and mid-cut leg design, creating contrast against the darker outerwear. Stylist Kollin Carter completed the outfit with silver lace-up boots.
Her hair added another visual element to the look. Styled in a mid-length bob, it transitioned from yellow and neon green at the top to orange, red and deep blue at the ends, framing her face and breaking the monochrome tone of the coat. Her makeup remained stage-focused with a defined brow and neutral matte lip.
