Logan Paul narrowly missed out on owning a piece of professional wrestling history after losing a seven-figure auction for Hulk Hogan’s blood-stained boots from WrestleMania 1.
Paul revealed on Sunday, March 1, that he stayed up into the early morning hours locked in a bidding war for the boots worn and signed by the late Hogan during the inaugural WrestleMania event at Madison Square Garden in 1985.
“Stayed up until 2am in a bidding war trying to win Hulk Hogan’s worn & signed boots from Wrestlemania 1,” Paul wrote via X on March 1. “The inscription read ‘These are my real boots with my real blood on them from MSG, Hulk Hogan.’” He added, “I tapped out at $1,021,000. Gg to the winner.”
Paul also shared a screenshot of the tall yellow lace-up boots, which featured Hogan’s handwritten inscription along the side. The listing confirmed that Hogan wore the boots in 1985 and showed they ultimately sold Saturday for $1,037,000. A notice beneath the listing indicated that Paul’s final bid of $1,021,750 had been outmatched at the last moment.

Hulk Hogan began his wrestling career in the late 1970s and first joined WWE in 1979, eventually becoming one of the most recognizable figures in the industry. He stepped away from professional wrestling in 2012 after a decades-long career that helped shape the global popularity of the sport.
In July 2025, Hogan died of a heart attack at the age of 71. Medical documents obtained by Us Weekly later revealed that he had a history of leukemia CLL. One month before his death, a source reported that Hogan underwent a “pretty serious” heart surgery but was “doing well.”
Logan Paul’s Rapid Rise In WWE Since WrestleMania 38

Logan Paul made his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 38 in 2022 and announced later that year that he had signed with WWE.
“I think it’s safe to say @LoganPaul shocked the world with his abilities as a guest at #WrestleMania … just imagine what he’ll do as a @WWE Superstar. Congratulations and welcome!” WWE Hall of Famer Triple H tweeted at the time.
In 2023, Paul re-signed with WWE on a multiyear deal. “I feel incredibly blessed to have found something that I’m good at, at 28 years old,” he said in a statement. “And the fact that the organization believes I’m good enough to continue hopefully building this WWE legacy is mind-blowing.”
Later that year, Paul won his first major championship when he defeated Rey Mysterio at the Crown Jewel event to become United States Champion. Earlier this year, Paul also discussed the possibility of a future match with Bad Bunny.

The comments followed his prior red carpet remark that he was not excited for the rapper’s Super Bowl Halftime show, which he later addressed on his podcast.
“Let’s peel back the curtain. I’m going to stop messing around. Bad Bunny is a world-renowned superstar,” Paul said on the February 17 episode of his “Impaulsive” podcast. “He also can be a WWE superstar when he wants. He’s a good wrestler.”
He continued, “There have been talks about maybe us wrestling. It’s been floated around. I’ve been candid about the fact that I’d love to do it. I think it would be the greatest WWE match of all time. I really believe that.”
