The loss was made even more painful for Romeo, who is a devoted Arsenal supporter, after an own goal from Lisandro Martínez and a close-range finish by Mikel Merino helped United seal the victory at the Emirates.
Twisting the knife with trademark humor, Beckham posted a throwback photo on Instagram of himself celebrating a Manchester United goal. He captioned it: “You ok Romeo?? @romeobeckham,” alongside white, black, and red heart emojis.
Romeo was quick to fire back. He shared a screenshot of the Premier League table showing Arsenal sitting top, ahead of Manchester City, Aston Villa, and Manchester United. Tagging his father in the post, he replied: “Don’t get too gassed. Mind the gap.”

Brooklyn also described an alleged incident at his wedding as “humiliating,” claiming Victoria Beckham danced inappropriately during the celebration. Victoria was reportedly left “devastated” by the accusations.
A source told the Mirror that she had “done everything she could to make both Brooklyn and Nicola feel welcome” and had hoped to build a close relationship with her daughter-in-law, only for those efforts to be “thrown back in her face.” Despite the very public fallout, insiders added that David and Victoria “would take Brooklyn back in a minute” and remain hopeful that time will eventually heal the rift within the family.
Speaking to CNBC at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Sir David later reflected more broadly on parenting and the influence of social media. “I have always spoken about social media and the power of social media… For the good and for the bad. What kids can access these days, it can be dangerous. But what I have found personally, especially with my kids as well, use it for the right reasons. I’ve been able to use my platform for my following, for UNICEF.”

He added, “And it has been the biggest tool to make people aware of what’s going on around the world for children. And I have tried to do the same with my children to educate them. They make mistakes, but children are allowed to make mistakes. That is how they learn. That is what I try to teach my kids. You sometimes have to let them make those mistakes as well.”
