Flavor Flav has teamed up with MGM Resorts International to host a four-day celebration in Las Vegas this summer honoring U.S. women who earned medals at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
The rapper announced Thursday that the “She Got Game” weekend will take place from July 16 through July 19 and will feature hotel accommodations, hospitality events, spa access, ground transportation, dedicated event spaces, after-parties, and a public parade open to fans.
Flavor Flav supported USA Bobsled/Skeleton during the Winter Games and has been a vocal supporter of women’s sports in recent years. In a post on X, he detailed MGM Resorts’ role in helping organize the event.
“I wanna give a special shout out to MGM Resorts. Many people offered to help the hockey team, but when I said I wanted to include ALL women who earned medals from the winter games + USABS (USA Bobsled/Skeleton), they didn’t hesitate and stepped up to be REAL partners with 100+ rooms,” Flavor Flav wrote in an X post Thursday night.
“They also offered food and hospitality, spa, ground, event space, after parties, and to host the parade and party for the PUBLIC to celebrate our women for FREE.”
Flavor Flav has also launched a GoFundMe campaign tied to the celebration weekend. The donation page states, “Funds raised through this campaign will go directly to the invited female athletes and support the She Got Game weekend. Your generosity will ensure these athletes are properly celebrated in Las Vegas and receive meaningful financial support for their futures.”

Flavor Flav officially joined USA Bobsled/Skeleton as the team’s hype man in October. Earlier, around the time of the 2024 Summer Olympics, he also signed a sponsorship deal with USA Water Polo, stepping in as the program’s official hype man.
The Las Vegas celebration will honor U.S. medalists from the 2026 Winter Olympics across multiple winter sports, including athletes from the U.S. women’s hockey and bobsled teams.

Flavor Flav announced the event days after public reaction followed a phone call between the U.S. Olympic men’s hockey team and President Donald Trump after the Americans secured a 2 to 1 overtime win over Canada in the gold-medal game at the 2026 Winter Games.
During the call, Trump joked that he had to invite the U.S. women’s hockey team to his State of the Union address after their gold medal victory in Milan or else “I believe I probably would be impeached.” Some members of the men’s team laughed during the exchange.
Twenty members of the men’s team later attended Trump’s State of the Union address at the U.S. Capitol on Tuesday and visited the White House. During his speech, Trump said the women’s hockey team will “soon” visit the White House. The team declined an invitation for that night due to scheduling conflicts.
However, it remains unclear whether the women’s team has accepted a future invitation. Players from both teams addressed the reaction. Boston Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman said, “We should’ve reacted differently.” Women’s gold medalist Hilary Knight called the remark a “distasteful joke” during a Wednesday appearance on Sportscenter.
Jack Hughes, who scored the overtime goal that ended a 46-year gold medal drought for the U.S. men’s hockey team, discussed the connection between the men’s and women’s programs during media interviews following the Games.

The U.S. women’s hockey team won gold at the Milano Santagiulia Ice Hockey Arena in Milan on Feb. 19, 2026. U.S. bobsled athletes also reached the podium in Cortina d’Ampezzo. The July 16 to 19 event in Las Vegas is scheduled to honor those medalists and other American women who competed at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
