From Golf To Glitz: Tiger Woods’ 50th Birthday Celebration Revealed

Tiger Woods is set to mark a major milestone with an exclusive celebration that merges personal achievement and philanthropy. The golf legend turned 50 on December 30, 2025, and will commemorate the occasion with a formal event on January 14, 2026, at The Breakers, the iconic oceanfront resort in Palm Beach, Florida.

Hosted by Woods’ TGR Foundation, the evening is being framed as more than a birthday celebration. The gathering will also serve as the official launch of the foundation’s 30th anniversary campaign, highlighting Woods’ decades-long commitment to education and youth development. The event reflects how Woods continues to blend his legacy in golf with a lasting impact off the course.

The event, titled “RED: Celebrating Legacy presented by EY US,” reflects a carefully curated tribute to both Tiger Woods’ career and his philanthropic vision. EY US is serving as the presenting sponsor. The theme revolves around the color red, an unmistakable symbol of Woods’ dominance and the tradition of wearing red during final rounds.

Guests have been asked to incorporate a “touch of red” into their attire, visually linking the evening to Woods’ on-course legacy. The celebration will be held at The Breakers, a historic luxury resort in Palm Beach renowned for hosting exclusive, invitation-only events.

Approximately 300 guests are expected to attend, including PGA Tour star Justin Thomas, Woods’ longtime caddie Joe LaCava, Pro Football Hall of Famer Michael Strahan, and Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank, a member of the Strategic Sports Group that recently invested $1.5 billion into the PGA Tour.

TGR Foundation CEO Cyndi Court said the guest list was intentionally kept small to maintain the spirit of the evening. “We definitely could have made it bigger,” Court said. “But we also wanted it to be intimate so that we could celebrate people that throughout the years, have made tremendous commitments to Tiger’s vision of what could be possible in the future.”

Adding to the night’s significance, Jon Bon Jovi is scheduled to perform, bringing a major entertainment element to the celebration. Court emphasized that the gathering represents more than a milestone birthday.

“It’s a lot more than a birthday party, and it’s a lot more than an event,” she said. “It’s an event that’s culminating a year of work, and then launching a year of hard work going forward, and what we’re going to do as we expand and grow.”

The evening’s menu is expected to be a nostalgic nod to Tiger Woods’ five Masters Champions Dinners held after his victories at Augusta National.

Those famed gatherings featured comfort-forward, crowd-pleasing selections such as steak and chicken fajitas, stuffed jalapeños, porterhouse steaks, crab cakes, cheeseburgers, French fries, and milkshakes. Similar dishes are anticipated for the celebration, blending championship tradition with personal favorites.

The event also arrives during a period of recovery and transition for Woods. He underwent back surgery in October 2025, following a procedure in March to repair a ruptured Achilles tendon. On the competitive side, Woods’ most recent major championship appearance came at the 2024 Open Championship, where he missed the cut, underscoring the physical challenges he has faced as he navigates the next chapter of his career.

Jon Bon Jovi is set to headline Tiger Woods’ upcoming 50th birthday celebration, Front Office Sports reported on X. His performance is expected to be the highlight of the evening, adding a major music component and placing a globally recognized rock icon at the center of Woods’ milestone celebration.

Bon Jovi’s involvement is far from new. The musician has a longstanding connection with Woods’ charitable initiatives, particularly through Tiger Jam, the annual benefit concert supporting the Tiger Woods Foundation.

In 2003, Bon Jovi and the Goo Goo Dolls were scheduled to perform at the sixth edition of Tiger Jam, held on April 19 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. At the time, Woods spoke about his admiration for Bon Jovi and the significance of their participation.

“Tiger Jam has had outstanding talent every year, and we’ve continued that tradition with Bon Jovi. I grew up listening to Bon Jovi, and I’m really looking forward to seeing them live. It means a lot to me that Jon and the guys have joined in my efforts to support today’s youth through Tiger Jam,” Woods said, as quoted by Billboard.
