Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, marking a new chapter in their lives just weeks before the NFL offseason begins. Steinfeld shared the joyful news on Thursday through her newsletter, Beau Society, in a post titled “Special Delivery,” confirming the arrival of their daughter.
“Our baby girl has arrived!!” Steinfeld wrote. “We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes. Love, Hailee and Josh.”
While the couple chose not to reveal the exact date of birth or further details, they confirmed they are currently spending time together and embracing the early days of parenthood.
The announcement comes just ahead of the Buffalo Bills’ offseason workout program, which begins April 6, with organized team activities scheduled for May. Allen is set to enter his ninth NFL season, now with the added joy and responsibility of being a first-time father.
Steinfeld largely stayed out of the public eye as her due date approached, opting for privacy during the final stages of her pregnancy. She notably skipped the Academy Awards on March 15, despite her film Sinners, helmed by Ryan Coogler, leading the night with an impressive 16 nominations.

During the ceremony, her co-star Michael B. Jordan took home the Best Actor award and acknowledged Steinfeld’s absence in his speech, stating she was at home preparing to welcome her first child.

In the same newsletter edition, she shared a photo of a baby onesie with “Beau” written on it, suggesting a possible name connection. One day before the 2026 Oscars, Steinfeld attended a baby shower hosted by her mother, Cheri.
The event marked a personal milestone ahead of the child’s arrival. For the occasion, Steinfeld wore a cream-colored satin Stella McCartney maxi dress, paired with brown boots and Jen Fisher earrings, according to details shared from the gathering.
