The whole first season of ‘House Of The Dragon‘ involved a lengthy battle with immense time turners, surprising twists, dragons, incest and oh, deaths. Season one has finally come to an end and needless to say, it has left fans in shock. The prequel series of the ‘Game of Thrones‘ franchise has succeeded in fans taking to social media to post some wild reactions.
As we saw the houses fighting over as to who should take the reign after the death of King Viserys, the audience was forced to pick a side between the Green Council and the Black Council. After the end of the ninth episode called “The Green Council”, here’s what happened in the tenth episode, “The Black Council”.

What Happened In The Last Episode Of The ‘House Of The Dragon’?
With the ending of episode ninth with Prince Rhaenys disrupting Aegon’s coronation, it was just moments away before Princess Rhaenyra learned of Queen Alicent’s decision to not make Viserys daughter queen after his death. The scene of Rhaenys arriving at Dragonstone follows with him giving the news that the Greens are coming for her.
In another gruesome birth episode of the show, we see Rhaenyra delivering a stillborn baby. While mourning for her youngest child, one of the Arryk Cargyll twins arrives and pledges his loyalty to her. This follows with a scene of Rhaenyra holding a meeting with the Black Council and discussing the probability of going to war. While this goes on, Alicent’s father an Otto Hightower come with a peace offering to Dragonstone.
As Rhaenyra considers the terms, meanwhile it is revealed that Corlys is alive. Corlys and Rhaenys ultimately pledge House Velaryon and the navy to the “Black Queen”. Both Lucerys and Aemond visit Boros Bratheon, however it ends poorly as they get into an aerial fight resulting in Vhagar killing Rhaenyra’s son.
