In The Aftermath Of Hulk Hogan’s Death, Nick Hogan Teases Move Into Wrestling

Nick Hogan has hinted that he may pursue a wrestling career following the death of his father, WWE legend Hulk Hogan, on July 24, 2025. The 34-year-old spoke at the Los Angeles International Airport and said that being around the wrestling world makes him feel closer to his father, whose passing at age 71 was ruled a heart attack by the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center.

Nick explained that wrestling has always been part of his life. Stepping into an arena or being around wrestlers instantly reminds him of Hulk and the many years he spent growing up backstage at events and shows.

When asked by TMZ if he plans to enter the ring, Nick Hogan responded, “You never know, man. It’s in the blood. So, you never know.” He added that he has “always loved the business” and that staying connected to wrestling helps him feel closer to Hulk. Nick also shared that he regularly speaks with people in the wrestling world, calling the community “family.”

Speculation grew earlier in the week after Nick posted a workout photo on social media. The image showed him training with NWA star Bryan Idol and was uploaded a few days prior.

Nick explained, “I’m not saying too much, trying to stay in good shape,” and once again answered, “You never know,” when pressed on whether the post signaled the start of a potential wrestling career.

For the unversed, Hulk Hogan passed away at his home in Clearwater, Florida, on July 24, 2025. Records noted that he had a history of leukemia and atrial fibrillation. While his death was officially listed as natural, the exact cause is still under review.

On August 30, 2025, Nick and Hulk’s wife, Sky Daily, filed a petition in Pinellas County, Florida, requesting a ninety-day extension to the statute of limitations as they consider a possible medical malpractice investigation.

The petition names doctors and medical staff from Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, where Hulk was pronounced dead, as well as Tampa General Hospital, where he also received treatment.

In an August 2025 interview with The Post, Nick explained that the family worked tirelessly following Hulk’s neck surgery in May 2025, which led to unexpected complications.

He said, “There were just multiple different things that were complicated, that towards the end of it, we tried to deal with, and he really, really was fighting and trying to recover.” Nick added that the family stood by Hulk through months of struggle, but the situation became extremely difficult and unpredictable. Nick also recently wrote a heartfelt tribute post in honor of his father.
