‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ returns but without its king. This emotional rollercoaster of a movie isn’t going to be easy to watch especially with Chadwick Boseman not around. While it is tough for us as viewers, the pain of the cast members seems unimaginable. Though fans are looking forward to it, the new storyline for the character of T’challa seems to confuse them.
T’challa was played by the talented actor Boseman. Now with him gone the writers seems to have incorporated something around him. This new story arc is still a mystery, while a short glimpse of it seems to have unrest among the fans.

Director Confesses That ‘Black Panther 2’ Will Be A Tribute To Chadwick Boseman
At San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios released the ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ trailer. The preview showed the gap and sorrow caused by the death of actor Chadwick Boseman. He played the Wakandan hero in the movies. Fans witnessed the return of Letitia Wright’s Shuri, Danai Gurira’s Okoye, and Lupita Nyong’o’s Nakia along with new characters while an emotional version of ‘No Woman, No Cry’ played in the backdrop.
The trailer also gives us our first look at two new characters: Tenoch Huerta as Namor and Dominique Thorne as Williams, nicknamed Ironheart, aka Riri Williams. It shows Atlantean troops fighting the Dora Milaje, suggesting that Namor and the new Black Panther would face off in this sequel.
Director Ryan Coogler also made a speech honouring the late actor at the Comic-Con trailer premiere. “Chad is no longer with us physically, but his spirit, his passion, his genius, his pride, his culture, and the impact that he made on this industry will be felt forever. We put our love for Chadwick into this film.”
When Boseman unexpectedly passed away in 2020, Marvel had to make a difficult decision of whether to recast T’Challa or continue the story with a different angle. Boseman’s portrayal of Black Panther in the 2018 blockbuster of the same name was regarded as one of the MCU’s most complex character arcs. So, they choose to pay him homage in the sequel. ‘Black Panther 2’ will be a testament to his legacy, the cast and crew have stated emphatically as his passing hangs over the sequel.
Fans Guess Who Will Be The New ‘Black Panther’?
While the people of Wakanda, may be busy mourning for their fallen king, seems like a new king has risen. The trailer of the sequel has given a sneak peek of a possible next Black Panther. Fans are left guessing if Shuri or someone else has taken up this role because the person’s face is not shown in the trailer. Though this may present a new intriguing plot for the movie, it surely has puzzled fans. There are also still people who believe that they could have recast.
