Jason Kelce has shared where his brother Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs jerseys will eventually be displayed once the All-Pro tight end brings his NFL career to an end.
The brothers addressed the topic while answering fan questions on a bonus episode of their New Heights podcast released on January 30. During the discussion, Jason revealed that he plans to hang Travis’ Chiefs jersey inside the home he shares with his wife, Kylie, and their four daughters — Finnley, Bennett, Elliotte, and Wyatt.
Jason, who retired from the Philadelphia Eagles after the 2023 NFL season, explained that the jersey would become part of a larger collection of memorabilia tied to his own playing career. Although he admitted he is not typically someone who decorates with sports keepsakes, he noted that certain pieces carry deep personal meaning.
“I’m generally not, but I do plan on displaying a lot of the jerseys I’ve acquired over the years, especially guys that I played with,” Jason said during the episode.
As the conversation continued, Jason jokingly told Travis that he had even considered mounting former Eagles teammate Brent Celek’s Super Bowl-worn jockstrap alongside one of his Eagles jerseys in the weight room at home, a comment that immediately sent both brothers into laughter.
Travis then teased Jason about whether he was really the type to “show off” jerseys, prompting Jason to explain that any display would be highly selective and based on personal meaning rather than decoration.
When Travis asked directly if his own Chiefs jersey would make the cut, Jason didn’t hesitate. “Of course,” he replied, adding that he knew “exactly where” the jersey was at that moment.

The brothers also weighed in on the best way to display jerseys. Travis said he wouldn’t want a game-worn uniform sealed away in a glass case, arguing that it takes away from the emotional connection players have to what the jersey represents. Instead, he explained that he prefers being able to “feel the dirt and sweat” that come with competition.
Chiefs Owner Clark Hunt Addresses Travis Kelce’s Pending Retirement Decision

Travis Kelce has not yet announced whether he will return to the Kansas City Chiefs for a 14th NFL season. Amidst this, Chiefs owner Clark Hunt addressed Kelce’s status during an appearance on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football on January 27, saying he “certainly” hopes the veteran tight end will return.
Hunt said the organization is giving Kelce the time and space needed to decide with input from his friends and family.
During the interview, Hunt referenced Kelce’s performance during the most recent season, noting that the tight end recorded more than 800 receiving yards and remained “really one of the leaders on the offensive side of the ball” for Kansas City.

Hunt said the team believes Kelce is still capable of playing at a high level and emphasized that the Chiefs are approaching the situation with respect as the decision process continues. However, no timeline has been announced for when Kelce is expected to make his final determination.
