The image circulated widely on March 8 and showed the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback seated beside Alba at a gaming table. Their appearance together quickly led some social media users to speculate that the pair might be dating.
A report from TMZ later explained that the meeting had no romantic connection. According to the outlet, Burrow and Alba were part of a larger group attending the opening of the Zero Bond social club at the Wynn Las Vegas that weekend. The viral photo simply captured a moment when the two happened to be sitting alone at the table.

Burrow had also traveled to Las Vegas earlier that evening to attend UFC 326 at the T-Mobile Arena. The report further noted that Alba remains in a relationship with actor Danny Ramirez.
Alba recently shared an Instagram photo collage from a trip with Ramirez to Mexico City, captioning the post, “The best week in one of my favorite cities – belly full, heart fuller ❤️ #CDMX,” indicating that the couple is still together.

Burrow generally keeps his personal life out of the spotlight. However, it briefly drew public attention in late 2024 after authorities reported a burglary at his home while he was playing in a Monday Night Football game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Investigators said the suspects stole approximately $300,000 worth of jewelry, clothing, and other personal belongings during the break-in.

Travis Steele, head coach of the Miami RedHawks men’s basketball, recently extended a public invitation for the quarterback to attend one of the program’s games.
Steele made the request during an appearance on Cincinnati’s Sports Show on March 8. The RedHawks are coming off an undefeated regular season and are now preparing for the Mid-American Conference men’s basketball tournament.
During the interview, Steele addressed the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback directly. “Hey, Joe Burrow, we need you at our game,” Steele said.
He added, “Cleveland, MAC Tournament, or if you want to make it to the NCAA Tournament, wherever that might be, don’t know the location. Hopefully it’s a warm location, got a beach as well if we’re lucky. We’d love to see you come to one of our games and support.”
Burrow signed a five-year, $275 million contract extension with the Bengals in 2023 and remains one of the most recognizable players in the NFL.
