Jordon Hudson publicly reacted to Bill Belichick’s shocking omission from the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2026 with a sarcastic social media post, drawing attention to the decision just days before the NFL officially announces this year’s inductees.
On Wednesday, February 3, Hudson shared a screenshot on Instagram showing a canceled order from the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s official online store.
The automated email explained that the purchase was “canceled because of unforeseen circumstances.” Hudson tagged the Hall’s official account and added, “Hey @profootballhof, what were the ‘unforeseen circumstances’?” followed by a laughing emoji.
Bill Belichick, the six-time Super Bowl–winning head coach of the New England Patriots, fell short of induction after failing to secure the minimum 40 of 50 votes required from the Pro Football Hall of Fame selection committee.
The result was widely viewed as a surprise, given Belichick’s historic resume, which features multiple championships, decades of sustained coaching excellence, and a legacy as one of the most influential figures in NFL history.
