JuJu Smith-Schuster is offering wedding planning advice to his Kansas City Chiefs teammate Travis Kelce, as both prepare for their upcoming weddings. In an interview with NBC Local published April 10, Smith-Schuster addressed Kelce, who is engaged to Taylor Swift, and shared guidance as he plans his ceremony.
“My advice to TK, man, if you see this, man, all I gotta say is just enjoy the process,” Smith-Schuster said. “Obviously, wifey is gonna want what she wants, just do it. That’s gonna be happy wife, happy life, and that’s all I gotta say.”
Smith-Schuster and Kelce were teammates during the 2022, 2024 and 2025 NFL seasons in Kansas City. While he noted they haven’t discussed wedding planning in detail, he added that both plan to attend each other’s ceremonies.
He said, “Not so much, but he’s gonna have a great wedding, I’m gonna have a great wedding. We’re gonna be attending both of them.”
Smith-Schuster is set to marry Laura Kruk in July after the couple got engaged in September 2024. Kelce and Swift announced their engagement in August 2025 and have not publicly confirmed a wedding date.
Smith-Schuster also spoke about Swift, describing her as “very cool, chill” and praising her baking skills. “She’s a baker. She can bake. Yeah, she’s good at that. She’s just normal like us.”
