Catherine, Princess of Wales, attended the England vs. Ireland Six Nations Championship rugby match in London on Saturday, marking her first public appearance since Prince Andrew’s arrest earlier this week.
The 44-year-old royal arrived at the stadium in her capacity as Patron of the Rugby Football Union and the Rugby Football League. She watched the fixture from the stands alongside injured England prop Fin Baxter, with photographs from the match showing her smiling and intently following the action.
Kate Middleton wore a tailored blue suit paired with an England scarf draped around her neck in support of the home side. She styled her dark hair in loose waves and opted for minimal makeup suitable for the daytime sporting event.
As patron of both governing bodies, she frequently attends rugby engagements and presents awards connected to the sport, making Saturday’s appearance consistent with her ongoing public duties.
Her outing came two days after Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew, was arrested on Thursday on suspicion of misconduct in public office linked to his work as a British trade envoy. The arrest occurred on his 66th birthday. Authorities allege he shared confidential trade documents with the late convicted offender Jeffrey Epstein.

If convicted, Andrew could face life imprisonment. He has previously denied wrongdoing. His association with Epstein has drawn scrutiny for years and led to significant changes in his public role. Last year, he was stripped of his royal titles and later vacated his royal residence following renewed controversy connected to his past ties.
Photographers captured Andrew leaving Aylsham Police Station in the United Kingdom on Thursday evening. He appeared seated in the back of a vehicle as it departed the station, while authorities continue to investigate the allegations as the legal process moves forward.

Following the arrest, Charles III released a statement addressing the allegations against his younger brother.
“What now follows is the full, fair and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities,” the 77-year-old monarch wrote.
He added, “In this, as I have said before, they have our full and wholehearted support and co-operation. Let me state clearly: the law must take its course.”

The statement underscored that the matter now rests with law enforcement and judicial authorities. Buckingham Palace has not announced any additional changes to Andrew’s status beyond those previously confirmed. The investigation remains active, and officials have indicated that further updates will follow as proceedings advance through the courts.
