Miley Cyrus has admitted that headlining the Super Bowl halftime show feels overwhelming, though she hasn’t completely ruled out the possibility. In a cover story interview with Variety published on March 18, the 33-year-old addressed ongoing speculation about whether she would take on one of the biggest stages in music.
“I always think the Super Bowl feels like too much pressure,” Cyrus said. She went on to explain how the sheer scale of the event presents a mental challenge.
“I would have to do the mental work of making it not about the Super Bowl, because then you can’t help but go, ‘It’s millions of people, and it’s the most-watched thing in the world,’” she added.
Despite her hesitation, Cyrus revealed she could envision accepting the opportunity under the right creative circumstances. “If I could find a way to make it exactly what the Hannahversary was — taking a journey through the discography and appreciating each song, each era for what it is — I think I could find it in myself,” she said.

Her set featured tracks like “High,” “Edge of Midnight,” and “We Can’t Stop,” while her emotional rendition of her 2013 hit Wrecking Ball stood out as one of the most memorable moments of the performance.
Miley Cyrus Prepares For Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special On Disney+

Separately, Miley Cyrus is preparing for the release of her Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special, which will premiere on March 24 on Disney+.
The special marks two decades since the debut of the Disney Channel series that helped launch her career. Cyrus said she approached the project with a focus on preserving the original spirit of the show.
She told Variety, “I didn’t want to do this modern approach to Hannah. I wanted to keep it preserved. But also, now Hannah wears Gucci.”
Reflecting on revisiting the role, she added that returning to the character “felt like home again.” The special will include an in-depth interview with Cyrus and previously unseen archival footage from the series.
