Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary on Thursday by sharing heartfelt messages and photos reflecting on their long journey together.
Mahomes posted a series of images on Instagram, including a throwback photo of the couple as teenagers during one of his baseball games at Whitehouse High School. The picture offered a glimpse into their early relationship, long before his rise as the star quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs.
“My Day 1 ❤️ Happy Anniversary!” Patrick captioned the post. Another photo showed the couple walking down the aisle after tying the knot on March 12, 2022, in Maui. Additional images featured the pair posing together outdoors during different moments of their relationship.
Brittany responded in the comments, writing, “Omgggg🥹🥹🥹 I LOVE YOUUUU ♾️🤍.” She also celebrated the milestone with a separate Instagram post that included photos of the couple kissing during their wedding ceremony and reception.
“Happy Anniversary Honeyyyyyyy 🤍,” Brittany wrote. Mahomes replied in the comments, “Love you babe! ❤️.”
The couple tied the knot in 2022 after spending years together, with their relationship dating back to their time as students in Texas. Their daughter, Sterling Skye Mahomes, who was born in February 2021, served as the flower girl during the ceremony.

Patrick and Brittany later expanded their family, welcoming their son, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, in November 2022, followed by their daughter, Golden Raye Mahomes, in January 2025.
Beyond family life, Brittany has continued to pursue professional opportunities. She recently appeared as a model for the February 2026 digital cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.
Patrick Mahomes Continues ACL Recovery After 2025 Injury
Patrick Mahomes also made a recent public appearance while continuing his recovery from a serious knee injury suffered during the 2025 NFL season.
On Wednesday, the three-time Super Bowl champion attended the BYU-West Virginia matchup at the T-Mobile Center during the Big 12 Men’s Basketball Tournament in Kansas City. Video from the event showed him walking to his seat without visible difficulty.
For the unversed, Mahomes sustained a torn ACL in his left knee with less than two minutes remaining in the Chiefs’ 16–13 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 15 of last season. He underwent surgery the following day to repair the torn ACL and LCL ligaments.

The injury came during a difficult year for the Kansas City Chiefs, who finished the season with a 6–10 record and missed the playoffs for the first time since 2014 during Mahomes’ tenure as starting quarterback.
