Stefon Diggs’ mother appeared to publicly show support for the NFL player’s former partner, Cardi B, by attending the rapper’s concert just weeks after the couple’s breakup.
Stephanie Diggs, who refers to herself online as the “NFL Mom,” documented her night at Cardi B’s Little Miss Drama Tour stop in Houston, Texas, on Wednesday through a series of Instagram Stories. Her appearance came as her son and the rapper continued to remain in the spotlight following their high-profile split.
Ahead of the show, Stephanie Diggs told her followers she had been flown in for the event, saying, “She had to fly me in,” before adding, “We had a massage.” She also asked fans whether she should wear “heels or sneakers” to the concert and later revealed she chose sneakers.
For the outing, she wore a white button-up shirt paired with a black tie, a red plaid skirt and matching hat, sheer over-the-knee stockings, and black combat boots. “Ready to party ✨,” she wrote in a caption alongside photos from the evening. “Class is in session.”
Diggs and Cardi B were first linked in February 2025 and made their first public appearance together three months later at an NBA game. In September 2025, Cardi B announced she was expecting her fourth child, her first with Diggs. Their son was born in November.
However, by the time Diggs played in Super Bowl LX in February, speculation had already begun circulating that the couple had separated. Reports later indicated the rapper had “pulled back” from the relationship because “things were getting too heated and complicated,” though the possibility of the two reconnecting had not been completely ruled out.

Cardi B later confirmed she was single during a performance in Los Angeles in February. Although a viral concert moment appeared to reference Diggs, the rapper later wrote on X that the remarks were not directed at the wide receiver.
Stefon Diggs Released By New England Patriots After One Season

The personal developments come as Stefon Diggs faces a major professional change. The New England Patriots informed the four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver that he will be released when the NFL’s new league year begins on March 11.
Diggs joined the Patriots in 2025 on a three-year deal and quickly became the team’s top receiving option. During his lone season with New England, he recorded 85 receptions for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns while helping the franchise reach the Super Bowl, where it lost to the Seattle Seahawks.

The move will allow the Patriots to avoid a roster bonus that would have become guaranteed later in March, creating salary cap flexibility as the team reshapes its roster.
