Amber Heard‘s ongoing defamation case against ex-husband Johnny Depp has taken many turns. Heard claimed that Depp was aggressive throughout their relationship while Depp refuted these claims.
Earlier, Depp sued Heard for defamation after she published an op-ed in The Washington Post about domestic abuse. Heard launched a countersuit against Depp in 2020. In April 2022, the Depp vs Heard trial commenced in Virginia.

Amber Heard Removed From The Aquaman Sequel?
An online campaign to have actress Amber Heard, Johnny Depp’s ex-wife, removed from the upcoming Aquaman sequel is gaining traction.
On Monday, the long-running Change.org petition, which was launched in 2020, reached its initial target of 3 million signatures (May 2). The petition was subsequently given a new target of 4.5 million signatures. The upturn coincides with the former couple’s ongoing defamation case that began in April.
The 58-year-old Pirates Of The Caribbean star is suing Heard, 36, for US$50 million (S$69 million) over a December 2018 post in The Washington Post in which she defined herself as a “public figure representing domestic violence.” Heard has filed a countersuit for $100 million, alleging that Depp slandered her by labeling her a liar.
The number of signatures on the petition has increased by one million in the last week. The public made juicy details about their marriage. Although, the production of Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom has already wrapped in January 2022. Aquaman 2 will hit theaters in March 2023
On the other hand, Heard gets less than 10 minutes of screentime in Aquaman 2, according to film reviewer Grace Randolph. The film is currently in post-production. The specific members of the media are given access to advance screenings. It’s unclear if their tumultuous divorce had anything to do with her diminished position.

After two years of marriage, the former couple finalized their divorce in 2017. Depp said in court that he never hit Heard or any other woman and that Heard’s claims cost him “everything.”

His admirers have been loud on social media, demanding that Heard face the same repercussions as him. They’ve also assumed that Emilia Clarke, who appeared besides Momoa in the GOT, might be the ideal replacement for Heard in the Aquaman sequel.
