Shaquille O’Neal helped kick off Super Bowl weekend Friday night at the Cow Palace Arena in San Francisco, headlining his annual Shaq’s Fun House event alongside several major music acts.
The former NBA superstar took the stage as DJ Diesel, performing sets with T-Pain, Tiësto, and Disco Lines in front of a packed crowd. TMZ Sports reported live from the DJ booth, describing the scene as “part carnival, part circus and part festival.”
The outlet added that “the party was lit!” as O’Neal led the festivities during the Friday-night tradition held ahead of Super Bowl Sunday, with additional performers rotating through the night.
Shaq’s Fun House was part of a broader slate of Super Bowl LX–related events across the Bay Area, drawing high-profile names from sports, entertainment, and music in the days leading up to the championship game. The New England Patriots are set to face the Seattle Seahawks, with kickoff scheduled for 3:30 p.m. PT on Sunday.

Shaq’s Bass All-Stars Festival Returns To Texas In March

Shaquille O’Neal is also set to return to Panther Island Pavilion in the Dallas–Fort Worth area for the third annual SHAQ’s Bass All Stars Festival on March 21, 2026. Produced in partnership with Medium Rare and Disco Donnie Presents, the bass music event follows previous editions that drew more than 30,000 fans.
Organizers are planning expanded production for the 2026 festival, including immersive visual effects, large-scale art installations, and a Ferris wheel. The event will also feature the return of “The Trenches,” a 360-degree secondary stage designed to place attendees at the center of the crowd and enhance the live music experience throughout the venue.
O’Neal personally curated the lineup to showcase a blend of established acts and rising talent within the bass music scene.
The main stage is scheduled to feature a back-to-back performance from Levity and Wooli, along with sets from DJ Diesel and Jessica Audiffred, while a special guest headliner has yet to be announced. Additional performances at “The Trenches” stage are slated to include Big Florida, Whales, and Tynan.
