Simone Biles And Jonathan Owens Cheer On Team USA In Milan

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens were spotted in the stands at the 2026 Winter Olympics on February 13, attending the men’s singles figure skating competition at Milano Ice Skating Arena while cheering on Team USA athletes.

The 28-year-old gymnast wore an ivory Olympics jacket similar to those issued to U.S. competitors, paired with a navy top, white jeans, and stiletto boots. Owens, who plays for the Chicago Bears, sat beside her in a navy “Team USA” jacket, white T-shirt, white pants, and sneakers, accessorized with a diamond necklace featuring his jersey number, 36.

The couple, who married in 2023, watched American skaters Ilia Malinin and Andrew Torgashev compete. Malinin, 21, entered as a gold-medal favorite but ultimately finished eighth after two falls.

In an interview shared by the Olympics’ official website, Biles reflected on the demands of the sport while voicing her support for the competitors. “There is a little bit of familiarity around (the sport), but I would never do it on ice,” she said.

She added, “I give them all the props, I’m rooting for them, I’m praying for them. I’m just super excited to watch today. I mean, I can skate. But I cannot do anything that these athletes can do out there tonight.”

Simone Biles is among the most decorated gymnasts in Olympic history, with 11 Olympic medals and 30 World Championship medals to her name. She made her Olympic debut at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, capturing four gold medals and one bronze.

She later competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics, where she experienced the “twisties,” a condition in which gymnasts lose spatial awareness while twisting in the air. After withdrawing from several events for safety reasons, she still helped secure a team silver medal and earned a bronze on balance beam.

In January, Simone Biles discussed the possibility of competing at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics during an interview with Sports Illustrated, suggesting a return might not be necessary given her accomplishments.

“Because I’ve accomplished so much, there’s almost nothing left to do, rather than to just be snobby and to try again, and for what?” she said. “I’m at a point in my career where I’m humble enough to know when to be done.”

As of February 2026, Biles has not announced plans to compete in another Olympic Games, while she and Owens continue to make public appearances supporting U.S. athletes across international competitions.
