Stephen Curry celebrated his 38th birthday on March 14, 2026, surrounded by the family that has often been by his side during major milestones throughout his basketball career. The Golden State Warriors star shares four children with his wife, Ayesha Curry, and frequently highlights family life away from the court.
Curry and Ayesha have been together since 2008, though their story began years earlier. The two first met in 2003 while attending the same church as teenagers. “We were just kids,” Ayesha previously told People magazine of their first encounter. “He was the cute boy at church that all of the girls were obsessed with, so I made a generalization that maybe he wasn’t for me.”
The pair later reconnected in Los Angeles in 2008 after several years apart. At the time, Ayesha said she had a “no athletes” policy, but their relationship quickly developed. The couple eventually married in 2011.

Ayesha has continued to share updates about the family on social media. In a Father’s Day tribute in 2022, she posted photos of Curry with their children and wrote, “Happy Father’s Day my love!!! You are an angel on earth and we love you beyond measure!”
