David Beckham and Victoria Beckham publicly marked their son Brooklyn Beckham’s 27th birthday on March 4 despite an ongoing family dispute that reportedly limits their communication.
“27 today 🥹 Happy birthday Bust 🤍. We love you x,” the former Manchester United ace captioned a selfie shared to his Instagram Stories on Wednesday. The photo showed David and Victoria posing in a pool with Brooklyn.
Victoria posted the same image to her own Instagram Stories, writing, “Happy birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much ❤️.”
David also shared a black-and-white photograph of himself with Brooklyn as a child. Meanwhile, Victoria posted a separate childhood image of herself playing outdoors with their eldest son.
The birthday tributes came two months after reports surfaced that Brooklyn had asked his parents to contact him only through legal representation as tensions within the family escalated. According to the Daily Mail, Brooklyn said he did not want David and Victoria to contact him directly or make public statements about him on social media.

“David was told to speak to them via (law firm) Schillings,” a source told the outlet. “That was the only way for them to communicate.” In January, Brooklyn addressed the family situation on social media, stating that he did not want to reconcile.
He alleged that his parents were attempting to interfere in his marriage to his wife, Nicola Peltz. Brooklyn claimed Victoria “hijacked” his and the Bates Motel actress’s first dance at their 2022 wedding and “cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour.”
David and Victoria have not publicly responded to those allegations. Moreover, representatives for Brooklyn did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Cruz and Harper Beckham Share Messages Of Support For Brooklyn

While the dispute between Brooklyn Beckham and his parents has played out publicly, his siblings have shared messages directed at him on social media in recent weeks.
Last month, Cruz Beckham opened an Instagram carousel with a throwback photo featuring himself and his brothers. For Valentine’s Day, Harper Beckham posted an older image of herself with Brooklyn, Romeo Beckham, and Cruz, writing, “I love you all so much words can’t describe it.”
