Travis And Jason Kelce Team Up With Amazon’s Wondery For ‘New Heights’ Podcast In $100 Million Deal

National Football League players recently made a $100 million deal with Amazon Music’s Wondery. Brothers, Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce started a podcast New Heights in 2022. The podcast instantly gained fame as a hilarious brother duo letting in life details of the league players. Now the Kelce brothers have signed a deal with Wondery which includes the distribution rights of the weekly podcast.

The contract value is estimated at $100 million with a duration of three years. The contract gives Wondery exclusive distributing rights to the videos and audio of the podcast along with ad sales. The deal has been timed perfectly as the next football league is scheduled for next month. Travis plays for the Kansas City Chiefs. Meanwhile, Jason is retired from playing center for the Philadelphia Eagles.

“We Couldn’t Be More Excited”: Kelce Brothers On New Amazon Deal

The Kelce brothers signed a deal with Amazon’s Wondery for the distribution of their podcast, ‘New Heights With Jason And Travis Kelce’. The contract is valued at $100 million and will be applied from 28 August 2024. The brothers stated, “We couldn’t be more excited to team up with Wondery for the next phase of ‘New Heights’.” They added, “We love this show and the fanbase that has grown with us over the last two seasons.”

The podcast has won the Shorty Awards for Sports Podcast. It has received a great response to the brothers’ hilarious talks in the episodes. They related, “Wondery understands the shared vision and will offer a wealth of experience and resources to take us to ‘New Heights’! We are going to create some groundbreaking moments together through this partnership. We are thrilled to start Season 3 — see you soon, 92%ers!”

Wondery Wants To Venture Into Sports Entertainment

Jen Sargent, CEO of Wondery stated that he wanted to venture into sports entertainment and thought the Kelce brothers’ podcast would be a perfect fit. The CEO revealed that Wondery had been monitoring ‘New Heights’ progress since it was released in 2022. Jen stated, “New Heights’ on the surface is a sports podcast, and sports is such a well-listened-to category…..But it’s become a cultural phenomenon — they’re in that cultural zeitgeist.”

Both Travis and Jason have a combined experience of more than twenty-four years on the football field. The brothers relate their life details and share anecdotes from the field. Travis and Jason keep their talks lively and have frequent celebrity guests. The ‘New Heights’ podcast releases weekly episodes. Now Wondery+ subscribers can listen to ‘New Heights’ free on the app.
