Travis Kelce was seen speaking with Kai Trump during a TGL golf event on Tuesday at Palm Beach State College’s SoFi Center in Florida. Video shared on social media showed the Kansas City Chiefs tight end in conversation with the 18-year-old golfer, who smiled and adjusted her necklace as they spoke.
Kelce wore a green button-up shirt and a white baseball cap while Kai wore a white top. The two shook hands as Kelce introduced himself before continuing their exchange. It remains unclear what they discussed.

For the unversed, Kai is the granddaughter of Donald Trump. Interestingly, her grandfather publicly criticized Taylor Swift, the fiancée of Travis Kelce, in May 2025, stating that he “hates” the “no longer hot” singer. Swift and Kelce have not publicly responded.
Kai made her debut on the LPGA Tour in November 2025. She finished the tournament in last place and later told Golf Channel that she was “really nervous,” adding that “the nerves just got to (her).” She is set to attend the University of Miami in the fall. Her mother, Vanessa Trump, is currently in a relationship with Tiger Woods.

Kelce attended the event as part of the TGL match between Jupiter Links Golf Club and The Bay Golf Club. His brother, Jason Kelce, who now works as an ESPN analyst, interviewed him during the broadcast.
Travis Kelce Shares His Experience At TGL And Growing Interest In Golf
During ESPN’s coverage of the TGL match, Travis Kelce joined the broadcast and described his experience at the indoor league event.
“This is absolutely epic, obviously a huge fan of all these guys playing right here. It’s just been awesome to see them duke it out,” Kelce said.
Later in the evening, Kelce and his brother, Jason Kelce, appeared alongside ESPN host Scott Van Pelt for another live segment. Jason commented on Travis’ golf swing, telling viewers, “Trav has been smooth his whole life, which is something I know nothing about. All power and explosion.”
Kelce has participated in several golf events during the NFL offseason. Earlier this year, he competed as an amateur at the 2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, where he was paired with PGA Tour player Keith Mitchell. After their round, Mitchell said, “Humbling. He hits it way farther than I do.”

Kelce has spoken previously about why he spends time on the golf course. “It’s just the beauty of the course, to be honest. I know I’m not going to come out here and shoot low. I’m just going to have some fun doing it. Once I found out I was playing with old cashmere Keith over here, I had to try and match his swagger.”
He also said golf allows him to unwind from football. “Just to get away from reality to be honest. Stand over a ball, hit it as hard as I can, let some steam off and just enjoy the views.”
Kelce has appeared at other PGA Tour events, including the pro-am before the WM Phoenix Open, where he played alongside Brooks Koepka.
