“Me and Tay danced around Lake Como for a little while. I loved it out there,” he told Clooney. Kelce went on to describe how each day of the getaway felt completely different and added, “We had gloomy days, we had beautiful days. Every single day was a new epic realization of what’s really around the world. I have never imagined that place in my dreams.”
He also spoke fondly of the local culture and the region’s understated charm, especially the intimate lakeside restaurants. “There are so many little spots that are so fun to go to dinner,” he said. “You’re going to a place that has 10 seats in the corner of a cove, and it’s just the best pasta you can imagine.”
Clooney joked on the podcast that his Lake Como residence had essentially become a tourist attraction. Kelce chimed in with a laugh, noting that people “love to point it out whenever you’re on the lake,” as the two discussed the actor’s famously recognizable home.
Swift and Kelce spent their trip at Villa Sola Cabiati, an opulent Lake Como estate known for hosting high-profile guests. The property features six suites, accommodates up to 12 visitors, and costs roughly $21,000 per night.
Over the course of their three-day stay, the couple was photographed taking scenic boat rides and dining at Locanda La Tirlindana, one of the area’s most celebrated lakeside restaurants. One of their meals included octopus with sliced cherry tomatoes, a dish that later caught fans’ attention.
After returning to the United States, Kelce even referenced the getaway during his appearance at the 2024 Kelce Jam music festival, telling the crowd that his “life could be no better than right now.”
