Several WWE stars publicly pushed back after Tom Brady once again made remarks about professional wrestling during an appearance on March 19, 2026. Brady spoke with Sports Illustrated at the Fanatics Flag Football Draft in Los Angeles, where he was asked how many WWE wrestlers it would take to sack him.
He responded, “They wouldn’t even get near me. Plus if I had a good offensive line they punch those guys right in the throat and they’d probably be crying.”
The comments quickly spread across social media and drew reactions from WWE talent. 14-time Women’s champion, Charlotte Flair, addressed Brady’s statement, writing, “A lot of words to say ‘if i had five guys to protect me, I might be ok’”.
WWE newcomer Danhausen also responded in line with his in-ring persona, stating it would “only take one @WWE superstar to CURSE Tim Bordy,” referencing his character-driven gimmick.
The Bella Twins joined the exchange as well, saying they believed they could get a sack on Brady, adding to the growing chorus of responses from WWE talent following the quarterback’s remarks.
Brady’s comments came during a public appearance tied to the Fanatics Flag Football Draft event in Los Angeles. The remarks were made in response to a direct question and were not part of any announced collaboration with WWE.
In parallel, Brady has also been engaged in a separate public exchange with Logan Paul. The heated interaction continued in person during the same Los Angeles event, where the two were seen exchanging words.
