The 2024 Emmys was full of surprises and snubs alike. While the top contending series such as ‘The Bear’ and ‘Baby Reindeer’ dominated the awards this year, the ceremony was an ode to all things brilliant on the small screens.
The ceremony aired on September 15 on ABC, hosted by the father-son duo Dan and Eugene Levy. There were many predictable winners at the award night including ‘Shōgun‘ winning the best drama series, while Jeremy Allen White’s ‘The Bear’ maintained its position at the top of the list. However, some snubs shook the audience. Here’s a list of the top 10 surprises and snubs at the Emmys 2024.

Actress Liza beat Meryl Streep and Carol Burnett for the award of Best Supporting Actress, Comedy Series. It was her first time being nominated for an Emmy Award. She portrayed the role of Tine Marrero in ‘The Bear’ and beat the other potential wins in the category.
